Abstract

Effective oral presentation has become a crucial skill for EFL students at the tertiary level, but research shows that there is lack for a single framework for teaching this skill systematically. This paper addresses this gap by introducing the Presentation Pedagogy Framework (PPF) through a literature-based conceptual analysis. The PPF is a learner-centered approach that blends explicit instruction, technology, collaborative assessment, and curriculum integration. Additionally, practical teaching methods are explored and their integration into the framework to facilitate learners scaffolded practice and reflection is illustrated. As a result, the article aims to give educators and other stakeholders a useful strategy by outlining methods for boosting students autonomy and language proficiency.
