Abstract

Access to justice is an essential right of child victims of violence and a fundamental component of a child- friendly justice system. This article examines the legal frameworks and practical measures for ensuring access to justice for child victims of violence in Japan and Canada. Based on the experiences of these two countries, the authors propose recommendations for improving Vietnam’s legal framework and strengthening the effectiveness of mechanisms that ensure access to justice for child victims of violence.
