Abstract

This article introduces the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation on the grounds, competence, subjects, and contents of applying the preventive measure of “prohibition from certain activities.” On that basis, it draws lessons for studying and developing a new preventive measure in Vietnam’s Criminal Procedure Code to meet current requirements for investigation, prosecution, and adjudication.
