Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical foundations and investigates Biology pre-service teachers at Tay Nguyen University in order to assess their awareness and the extent to which they apply educational games in Biology teaching. The findings reveal that students still demonstrate limitations in their capacity to design and implement such games. Based on these results, the article proposes three measures: developing self-study materials, applying micro-teaching, and integrating game-based activities into teaching practicum. These measures aim to foster the competence of designing and utilizing educational games among Biology pre-service teachers, thereby contributing to the enhancement of teacher education quality and meeting the requirements of general education reform..
