Abstract

Cho Don Commune in Thai Nguyen Province was newly established in 2025 through the merger of Bang Lung Town and the communes of Ngoc Phai, Phuong Vien, and Bang Lang. The locality is characterized by its vast mountainous landscape, strong ecotourism potential, developed agriculture especially tea production and convenient transportation routes via National Highway 3, National Highway 3C, and Provincial Roads 257 and 255. In the context of complex and unpredictable security and public order conditions at the grassroots level, controlling and eliminating risks associated with improvised weapons and explosives remains a critical task for the People’s Police force in general and the Commune Police in particular. Strengthening management, inspection, and recovery measures is essential to ensuring community safety and maintaining social stability.
