Abstract

Gender equality in ethnic minority and mountainous regions is one of the vital strategic goals for Vietnam’s sustainable development. This article focuses on analyzing the current state of gender equality in these areas under the impact of economic, cultural, social, and institutional policy factors, especially in the context of implementing the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Regions for the period 2021-2030. This article proposes solutions to contribute to promoting gender equality in ethnic minority regions in Vietnam today.
