Abstract

In the context of digital transformation and the rapid growth of social media, innovating methods of teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought has become essential to improving the quality of political theory education and contributing to the protection of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s ideological foundation. This article clarifies the theoretical and practical foundations for such innovation and proposes solutions emphasizing competency-based learning, case-based teaching, dialogue, the integration of theory with practice, information verification skills, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. These approaches aim to develop students’ accurate understanding, ability to apply knowledge in practice, and capacity to proactively safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation.
