Abstract
In this article, the author studies the expressions of co-location indicating characters in the novel “Soldier’s Footprint” by writer Nguyen Minh Chau through the language of the narrator to see the characteristics of the use of these means, thereby pointing out their pragmatic values to better understand the characters in the work as well as the author’s artistic talent.
