Abstract

This article examines Vietnamese legal provisions governing violations of the monogamy principle under the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family. It analyzes the disciplinary, administrative, and criminal measures applicable to such violations, assesses current enforcement practices, and identifies existing limitations and their causes. Based on this analysis, the article proposes solutions to improve the legal framework and strengthen law enforcement. These solutions are intended to protect the lawful rights and interests of individuals and families while contributing to the stability of marriage and family relations in Vietnam.
