Abstract
International integration imposes new requirements on political theory teaching at the university level, with an emphasis on developing students’ critical thinking. Based on the role of critical thinking in knowledge acquisition and the formation of political competence, this article identifies requirements for renewing teaching methods and assessment practices. It highlights three key directions: linking theoretical content with concrete integration-related issues, organizing guided critical discussion activities, and implementing competency-based assessment to enhance the quality of political theory education in higher education.
