Abstract
The rapid development of digital transformation is bringing about fundamental changes in higher education, requiring political theory subjects to adapt in both content and teaching methods. This study focuses on assessing the current state of teaching Philosophy at Hanoi Medical University across several aspects, including curriculum, pedagogical methods, level of technology integration, lecturers’ competencies, and learner characteristics. The findings indicate that although there have been certain improvements in integrating technology into teaching, the effectiveness remains limited due to the lack of connection between content and medical practice, slow innovation in teaching methods, and uneven digital competencies among lecturers. Based on these findings, this paper proposes several orientations to enhance the quality of teaching this subject in the current context of digital transformation.
