Abstract

An Hà Báo is considered the first newspaper in the Quoc Ngu script in the Western region of Cochinchina during the colonial period. In addition to content related to politics, economics, and society in Indochina and the Western region of Cochinchina, An Hà Báo paid significant attention to educational issues. However, due to the acceptance of progressive ideas in the early 20th century, the educational viewpoints often published in the newspaper reflected the bourgeois democratic educational perspective.
