Abstract
Vietnam’s insurance market is developing rapidly, making an important contribution to economic growth and to the implementation of policies encouraging public participation in insurance. However, fraudulent practices aimed at obtaining unlawful benefits continue to occur in property insurance business activities. Such conduct adversely affects the lawful rights and interests of property insurance participants and may undermine the stability and development of the insurance market. This article therefore evaluates and analyzes the current legal provisions governing insurance fraud in property insurance contracts and proposes recommendations for their improvement, with a view to contributing to the sustainable development of the insurance market.
