Abstract

Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam are the guiding principles for all actions of the Party and the people in protecting, building, and developing the country. Today, Marxism-Leninism continues to demonstrate strong vitality in Vietnam and remains one of the most powerful revolutionary ideological weapons. This article focuses on clarifying several key aspects: the reception of Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam; its role in the present era; its influence through the stages of the Vietnamese revolution; and its contribution to the construction and development of socialism in Vietnam today. The authors affirm that Marxism-Leninism plays a historical and decisive role in successfully building socialism and guiding the Vietnamese people toward a prosperous and progressive society.
