Abstract
Festivals are not only a form of traditional cultural activity but also an "informal" educational environment capable of profoundly impacting the awareness, behavior, and lifestyle of humanity. This article studies the role of festivals in community education through the case of the Songkran festival in Thailand, encompassing historical education, moral education, and community education. The research results show that Songkran is not simply an entertainment festival but also an effective educational "channel" contributing to the formation of social values and the maintenance of cultural sustainability in Thailand.
