Abstract

The Land Law 2024 is regarded as a remarkable legislative achievement of Vietnam at present, with progressive new points, particularly the provisions on multi-purpose land use, such as the development of renewable energy on the same agricultural or aquacultural land area. This enables Vietnam to keep pace with the global trend of transitioning to renewable energy sources. Based on this, this article analyzes these provisions of the Land Law and studies the experiences of other countries around the world to propose some legal solutions for improving Vietnam's land law for the purpose of sustainable development.
