Abstract

Using analytical, synthetic, and generalization-based research methods, this article proposes a number of measures to develop History and Geography competency among 5th-grade students. These include employing diverse teaching strategies, making eff ective use of geography-specifi c teaching aids, and applying topic- appropriate instructional methods. The proposed approaches aim to cultivate foundational knowledge and skills in History and Geography, forming a solid basis for students to further develop these competencies in subsequent grades.
