Abstract

Theoretical and empirical studies have demonstrated that fundamental movements are essential for human functioning in everyday life and are applied across various activities and contexts. From these movements, structured systems of fundamental motor exercises have been developed, serving as a primary pathway for the formation and enhancement of fundamental motor skills. Developing fundamental motor skills for children aged 4–5 is particularly important, as it provides a solid foundation for their adaptation and active participation in daily activities during the preschool years. Traditional folk games are recognized as an effective means of holistic education in early childhood; notably, they serve as a valuable medium for promoting physical development and strengthening fundamental motor skills among children aged 4–5.
