Abstract

Training mathematical thinking and reasoning capacity for students through teaching Probability in grade 5 is an urgent need. This paper presents the theoretical and practical foundations for developing these competencies by analyzing the advantages and challenges faced by teachers and students. The article proposes three solutions to enhance students’ mathematical thinking and reasoning capacity through teaching Probability in grade 5, based on specifi c pedagogical principles.
