Abstract

This paper examines key issues in managing the Vietnamese economy within the context of international integration. Vietnam has progressively opened its economy, participated in various free trade agreements (FTAs), and become a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). International integration provides multiple opportunities—such as market expansion and increased foreign investment—while simultaneously presenting challenges related to competition, global uncertainties, and the growing need to improve economic management capacity. The article analyzes the fundamental principles of economic management, policy instruments, major challenges, and potential solutions aimed at promoting sustainable economic development.

Keywords: Economic management, free trade, international integration, macroeconomic policy, solutions, Vietnam.
