Abstract

This article examines the role of Caodaism in accompanying and contributing to Vietnamese national culture over the past century. It highlights the religion’s efforts in moral education, the transmission of cultural values, and the use of modern communication methods in religious activities. The article also emphasizes the need to strengthen social engagement, academic research, interfaith exchange, organizational capacity, and the development of religious dignitaries. To help Caodaism continue adapting to contemporary society while preserving its identity, the study proposes promoting selective cultural integration and standardizing worship practices and rituals. These measures are expected to reinforce religious faith, preserve distinctive cultural values, and enhance the position of Caodaism in social life.
