Abstract

In the context of globalization and international integration, English plays an essential role in developing the academic and professional competencies of high school students. However, the quality of English teaching and learning in several high schools in Hai Phong City remains limited, particularly in students’ communication skills. This study analyzes the current situation of English teaching at high schools in Hai Phong City and proposes solutions to enhance teaching quality to meet the requirements of the new general education curriculum and the needs of human resource development in the current period.
