Abstract

In the context of digital transformation and the rapid expansion of social media, political and ideological education for students faces new opportunities as well as emerging challenges. This article analyzes the impact of social media on the political awareness of students at Hanoi College of Economics and Industry, assesses the current state of political education at the college, and proposes solutions to improve educational quality amid the growing influence of social media. The findings highlight the need to innovate the content, methods, and delivery forms of political education in ways that align with students’ psychological characteristics and contemporary information-consumption needs.
