Abstract

The application of the law on criminal liability exemption for defendants by the investigative police agency involves the state's decision not to hold offenders criminally responsible for the crimes they have committed. In practice, the application of this regulation has been inconsistent, lacking uniformity, and facing various challenges and obstacles. This article focuses on analyzing the stages of applying these legal provisions and offers several recommendations to improve their effectiveness.
