Abstract

In the current context, arms trafficking is becoming increasingly complex, with increasingly sophisticated methods and tactics, particularly through the exploitation of cyberspace, advanced technologies, and cross- border trade to facilitate criminal activities. This type of crime not only poses a direct threat to national security, social order, and public safety but also creates potential links to other serious forms of crime. This article analyzes the key issues arising in the prevention and combating of arms trafficking and, on that basis, proposes several solutions to improve the legal framework and enhance the effectiveness of prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution, thereby contributing to maintaining security and social order in the new situation.
