Abstract

National Defense and Security Education is a compulsory subject that plays an essential role in fostering citizens’ awareness and responsibility in building comprehensive national defense and ensuring people’s security. Therefore, enhancing the quality of teaching this subject is of great significance. This article proposes several solutions to improve the effectiveness of National Defense and Security Education in the new context, aiming to cultivate moral qualities, strengthen students’ resilience, inspire patriotism and national pride, develop a sense of discipline within a military environment, and promote the application of acquired knowledge to real-life situations.
