Abstract
Building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity is both an urgent task and a long- term strategic goal for the country’s socio-economic development. State management of culture refers to the government’s use of constitutional, legal, and policy instruments to oversee and guide cultural activities, ensuring the preservation and development of national culture. Although Vietnam has achieved notable progress in this area, several limitations remain. This article proposes solutions to enhance the eff ectiveness of cultural governance, aligning with the requirements of constructing a socialist rule of law state in the current context.
