Abstract
This article examines efforts to improve the effectiveness of Party cell activities at the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee under Directive No. 50-CT/TW of the Secretariat, in the context of increasingly demanding requirements for Party building. It reviews implementation in practice, identifies achieved results, and highlights remaining limitations related to meeting content and formats, as well as the leadership and facilitation capacity of Party committees and cell secretaries. On that basis, the article proposes a set of coordinated solutions to renew activity content and forms, strengthen leadership, enhance educational functions, and reinforce the Party cell’s combativeness, thereby contributing to the development of clean and strong grassroots Party organizations that meet the needs of state administration and public service in the new context.
