Abstract

The implementation of post-supervision recommendations issued by the Vietnam Fatherland Front has contributed to improving local governance and public administration. However, this stage remains one of the weakest links in the overall supervision process. The implementation of recommendations is inconsistent across localities, monitoring and follow-up activities are often irregular, and outcomes continue to depend largely on the commitment of the supervised agencies. These limitations reduce the practical effectiveness of supervisory activities. Based on an analysis of the current situation and the underlying causes, this article proposes several solutions to strengthen the implementation of post-supervision recommendations, improve accountability, and enhance the effectiveness of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s supervisory role in the current period.
