Abstract

Education and scientific research constitute important responsibilities of universities and colleges, enabling students to acquire knowledge through diverse forms and methods of learning and inquiry. Scientific research, in particular, provides opportunities for students to develop their creativity and independently explore and test new ideas. However, conducting research requires various competencies, resources, and conditions, and students may encounter considerable difficulties without appropriate academic guidance and support. Lecturers therefore play a crucial role in supervising student research, providing methodological direction, supporting the research process, and helping students develop the competencies required to undertake scientific inquiry effectively.
