Abstract

Life cycle ceremony are a system of important ceremony in the life cycle of the people White Pants Dao. With ceremonys such as: birth ceremony, naming ceremony, ancestral ceremony, name change ceremony, coming of age ceremony, wedding and funeral. This study focuses on clarifying the basic values such as historical value and community cohesion value in the life cycle ceremony system of the people White Pants Dao in Tuyen Quang province, thereby understanding more about the cultural organization of life of the people White Pants Dao in Tuyen Quang.
