Abstract

Currently, as the worship of the Three and Four Palaces continues to grow, practitioners of Mother Goddess worship are becoming increasingly younger, with many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community turning to this belief system as a means of spiritual healing. This study consists of two parts: first, an analysis of the healing needs of the LGBTQ+ community through the practice of Mother Goddess worship; second, an examination of LGBTQ+ participation in spirit possession rituals within contemporary worship practices. The article employs a Religious Psychology approach, drawing on interviews with practitioners and field observations.

Keywords: LGBTQ+ community, spiritual healing, spirit possession ritual.
