Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the economic restructuring policies in Tra Vinh province, a coastal locality in the Mekong Delta, aimed at promoting sustainable development and deep integration into the regional economy. Tra Vinh has achieved remarkable progress in transitioning from a traditional agricultural economy to a multi-sector economic model. Industries such as manufacturing, services, and tourism are gradually contributing a larger share to the province's GDP, thanks to investment incentive policies, improved transportation infrastructure, and enhanced human resource training. However, the province also faces numerous challenges, including low labor quality, the impacts of climate change, and limited financial resources. The article proposes solutions such as promoting the application of science and technology, developing a green economy, and strengthening regional cooperation to foster sustainable growth. These policies not only enhance the province's competitiveness but also contribute to the broader process of national and regional economic integration.
