Abstract

The socialist-oriented market economy model is a creative theoretical breakthrough of the Communist Party of Vietnam over more than 40 years of reform, harmoniously combining progressive values of humanity regarding the market economy with the nature and goals of national independence, closely linked to socialism. In the structure of this model, the State does not stand outside or replace the market, but plays the role of the main entity organizing, directing, regulating, and promoting socio-economic development. This article proposes solutions to enhance the role of the State in developing the current socialist-oriented market economy.
