Abstract

Equipping children with problem-solving skills not only helps them solve problems independently but also prepares them to face challenges more confidently. To effectively develop these skills, this article defines key concepts related to problem-solving, identifies observable manifestations, and clarifies the factors influencing the formation and growth of these skills. Based on this foundation, the article proposes several strategies for enhancing problem-solving skills for 4-5 year old children through play-based activities in preschool settings, ensuring the comprehensive development of essential life skills.
