Abstract

The study at Tuy An Primary School (Thuận An City, Bình Dương) highlights difficulties fifth-grade students encounter in recognizing, explaining, and using Sino-Vietnamese words. To address this issue, the research proposes a three-tier system of exercises, integration with reading, writing, and speaking skills, and the application of mind maps, educational games, and technology in instruction. Additionally, it underscores the importance of real-life practice to enhance students’ proficiency and adaptability in using Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary.
