Abstract

As higher education increasingly shifts from content-based instruction to competency-based education, developing students’ capacity to analyze real-world issues has become essential to their learning, research, and application of knowledge in social contexts. The Scientific Socialism course offers considerable potential for achieving this objective because it not only provides a systematic body of theoretical knowledge but also enables students to interpret contemporary economic, political, and social issues arising in the process of national development. This article proposes measures to develop Hai Duong University students’ capacity to analyze real- world issues through the teaching of Scientific Socialism.
