Abstract

            The article addresses several theoretical issues, such as competency—the ability to use tools and learning aids in mathematics. Based on a survey of current practices in organizing teaching and learning to promote the competency of using tools and aids in mathematics, it then suggests utilizing GeoGebra software by teaching three content areas within 0xyz. The organization of experiential learning activities also confirms that when teachers use GeoGebra software appropriately and creatively, it can help improve the quality of teaching and learning, focusing on developing students’ skills and abilities.
