Abstract

Culture is the soul of a nation, reflecting its vitality, character, and wisdom. The history of nation-building and national defense of Vietnam has proven that culture has always been a solid spiritual foundation, helping the nation overcome all historical upheavals. Entering the 21st century, the trends of globalization and international integration open up opportunities for remarkable development, but also place traditional culture before existential challenges regarding assimilation and the erosion of identity. This paper studies the orientation and solutions for developing a modern, advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity, based on the guiding principles of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
