Abstract
In the context of comprehensive educational innovation, Can Tho University has actively focused on integrating core thinking capacities into the learning outcomes for pedagogical students. Through practical implementation, alongside the opportunities to access modern teaching methods, pedagogical students constantly face major barriers from passive learning habits. Concurrently, their capacities for independent analysis, argumentation, and evaluation repeatedly reveal limitations when resolving complex academic tasks, significantly affecting the development quality of their future professional competence. The primary cause stems from the university's critical thinking development system, which exhibits various limitations regarding in-class interaction time, the overly theoretical nature of assessment, and the learners' lack of supplementary soft skills. This article focuses on analyzing the current difficulties in practical training, thereby proposing a comprehensive system of pedagogical solutions.
