Abstract
Online learning through digital platforms has become an increasingly prominent trend in higher education worldwide. Learning management systems (LMSs), in particular, have been widely adopted since the COVID-19 pandemic. However, LMS-based online teaching also presents new challenges for lecturers. This article examines the specific difficulties encountered by lecturers at the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, when teaching the Introduction to State and Law course through an LMS. It also discusses the solutions implemented to address these challenges. Drawing on the experience gained from this process, the article argues that improving the quality of LMS-based teaching requires coordinated and comprehensive measures involving all relevant stakeholders.
