Abstract

Entering the new era, self-study is a crucial skill that brings fl exibility and adaptability in learning, work, and life for everyone. For students in general, and pedagogical students in particular, self-study skills help them accumulate knowledge, develop the ability to generate sustainable knowledge, and nurture the noble qualities of an educator. Cultivating self-study skills in the Education course enables students to develop lifelong learning capabilities based on four pillars: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be.
