Abstract

In the digital age, the reception of literature has shifted significantly from printed texts to multimedia formats such as e-books, audiobooks, podcasts, and film adaptations. This article examines this transformation and the interplay among words, images, and sound in the digital environment. Rather than a process of simple digitization, this transformation involves the creative reinterpretation of literary works while preserving their core values. Advances in digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) facilitate the production of engaging multimedia content and make literature more accessible to the public. However, this process also presents challenges related to copyright infringement and the potential distortion of original works through excessive creative modification. The article ultimately affirms that words remain the fundamental element of literary creation, while images and sound serve as complementary media that support the continued development of literature in the digital age.
