Abstract

(Artificial Intelligence - AI) is a term that is used more and more in different fields and careers in general and in teaching and studying foreign languages in particular. In higher education, the integration of AI tools into foreign language teaching is becoming an essential trend for teachers. In this paper, the author aims to design an AI-integrated model for teaching English grammar to first-year students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The article discusses communicative grammar teaching by combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with classroom instruction and encourages students’ independent learning. The designed model supports teacher guidance, develops students’ study activities, and enhances students' grammatical accuracy. The model is expected to provide a practical framework to improve grammar teaching at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and to support the integration of AI into English language teaching.
