Abstract

Through this article, the author highlights the most prominent advantages and disadvantages of teaching specialized English in Vietnamese People’s Public Security institutions today. Teaching specialized English is a highly specialized field that not only creates numerous opportunities to enhance language proficiency in professional settings but also poses considerable challenges for both teachers and students. Therefore, improving the quality of specialized English teaching requires comprehensive investment, including enhancing teachers’ professional capacity, innovating teaching methods toward more practice-oriented approaches, and simultaneously developing and selecting appropriate teaching materials suited to the current specific context.
