Abstract

To gradually develop cooperation skills in 3–4-year-old children, thematic role-play is of particular importance. Role-play is a form of group play that provides children with an environment in which they can experience and express emotions, feelings, and social behaviors. Participating in role-play activities can stimulate children’s imagination, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Through role-play, children also have opportunities to practice various skills and acquire knowledge about the world around them. In addition, role-play offers numerous benefits for young children, including developing communication skills and the ability to interact with others, expanding vocabulary and enhancing language development, learning how to solve problems, acquiring practical life skills, fostering imagination, developing the ability to learn and work collaboratively in groups, strengthening self-regulation skills, and promoting thinking skills.
