Abstract

In today's modern world, with the rapid development of science and technology, the emergence of heavy industries, industrial zones, factories, and the increasing population have significantly contributed to the surge in domestic solid waste discharged into the environment. This has become a major cause of environmental degradation if not properly addressed. Within the scope of this article, the author analyzes the current legal provisions on domestic solid waste management, identifies several limitations and inadequacies in both the legal framework and its enforcement, and provides recommendations for improving the regulatory system to enhance environmental protection.
