Abstract

Student research plays an important role in improving educational quality and developing students’ knowledge and transferable skills at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vinh University. However, evidence from the implementation of student research projects and a survey of 186 students reveals persistent limitations in both research quantity and quality. This study analyzes the current situation and identifies key barriers to student research. Based on the findings, it proposes a comprehensive set of short- and long-term solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of student research activities at the institution.
