Abstract

In recent years, alongside public and private rehabilitation facilities, several religious organizations in Vietnam have become increasingly involved in supporting people with drug addiction. The Aquila Center, affiliated with the Full Gospel Church of Vietnam, is a notable example. Based on in-depth interviews and participant observation, this article examines evangelization activities at the center. The findings show that Aquila is not only a rehabilitation center seeking to help participants overcome drug addiction, but also an institution whose activities are organized to introduce and spread Protestant beliefs among its participants.
