Abstract

Communicating criminal law knowledge about penalties applicable to juvenile offenders plays an important role in enhancing legal awareness, preventing legal violations, and ensuring the effective implementation of juvenile justice policies. Given the increasingly complex nature of juvenile delinquency and the enactment of the 2024 Law on Juvenile Justice, which introduced numerous new provisions, improving the effectiveness of legal communication has become an urgent requirement. This article examines relevant theoretical issues, evaluates the current state of criminal law communication concerning penalties for juvenile offenders in Vietnam, and proposes solutions to enhance its effectiveness. These efforts can contribute to improving legal awareness, protecting children’s rights, and preventing juvenile crime in the current period.
